from Page Six

(i don't want to go there but it must mean something that i'm getting information on what use to be my territory from Cindy Adams...)

"The Meatpacking District has become so trendy that one restaurant is resuming 24-hour service for the first time in 10 years. Florent Morellet - who recently helped get landmark designation for the neighborhood - is taking his brasserie Florent back to the 24-7 operation that made it popular when it opened in 1985. Hungry nightcrawlers can greet the dawn with Florent's new continental breakfast. 'The Meatpacking District is a 24-hour ecosystem - daytime is getting as busy as the nightlife,' he says. 'This is our beachhead against Starbucks.' "
