I have to agree with
Stephen Holden when he calls
Yossi & Jagger a "subtle and superbly realized miniature." In the center of it, 2 gay lovers who happen to be israeli soldiers crammed in a claustrophobic bunker on the border of Lebanon. But, much more than a love story, much more than a GAY love story, this is an anti-war movie. Non-sense war. And the gay love story that exists in spite of it. Compact movie, like the soldiers quarters. Subtle. Superbly acted.
